Women in Numismatics is a national non-profit organization founded in 1991 as a networking and educational forum for female numismatists. Women have much to contribute to the hobby and business of numismatics. Members include new and established collectors, dealers, and those associated with numismatic-related organizations.
Membership in WIN is NOT limited by gender – we welcome anyone who has an interest in numismatics and is willing to help WIN promote the hobby to everyone! WIN’s magazine, Winning Ways, is published three times a year and features articles on a wide variety of interesting numismatic topics.
WIN encourages fellowship and networking among members, and promotes education through guest speakers and informative presentations at three major shows each year: the Florida United Numismatists show in Florida, the Central States Numismatic Society show in Schaumburg/Chicago, and the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money show usually held in January, April and August, respectively.
WIN also provides educational opportunities to its members by awarding a scholarship to the ANA’s Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs to one WIN member each year who applies and meets the minimal qualifications. The ANA Summer Seminar is the premier annual educational event in numismatics. It’s a meeting place of great minds and great friends, where you’ll learn and grow into a better-informed collector and professional while enjoying the camaraderie of like-minded people.
